Key Skills / Requirements
- An appropriate degree (B.Mus. minimum)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- A current, active SACE registration.
- Appropriate and relevant experience in teaching.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in working with school choirs, marimbas and other musical instruments is essential
- Knowledge of music technology would be advantageous
- Individual instrumental teaching will be required in at least two instruments
- Prior experience assisting with school events and music department productions
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Teaching a range of Music classes,
- Involvement in a variety of co-curricular events at the school
- Willingness to participate in extra murals
- Be in possession of a PDP or be prepared to apply for one once appointed.
The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2025.
